Which chip should I choose?
Match the exact technology supported by your system. EM4200, MIFARE and DESFire are not interchangeable. For security-sensitive applications, ask your integrator to validate both the chip and its configuration.
Can I read the card with a smartphone?
125 kHz cards cannot be read using NFC. For a 13.56 MHz version, check whether the phone and app support the chip and its data format. HF frequency alone does not guarantee smartphone compatibility.
Is the credential ready to use on arrival?
It must be enrolled in your compatible system and assigned the appropriate user permissions. Buying the credential does not include configuring your installation.
